Job Description:

Schneider Electric is seeking passionate and motivated solution sales professionals to grow the Schneider Electric footprint in the Southern California (LA & surrounding county) area. With the technology evolution upon us, we are looking for an individual to help us deliver solutions to our target vertical markets including Commercial Office, K-12, Higher Education and Healthcare.
  • Account Management – Develop a qualified sales pipeline, with the ability to maintain, grow, and manage long term relationships with below customer types:
    • Owners / Developers
    • General Contractors
    • Mechanical/Electrical Contractors
    • MEP Consulting Engineers
  • Business Development – Ability to generate new relationships and sales opportunities:
    • Owners / Developers
    • General Contractors
    • Mechanical/Electrical Contractors
    • MEP Consulting Engineers
  • Technical Aptitude – Building Automation and/or Electronic Security Focus with knowledge of Industry trends. Ability to use critical thinking and relationship skills to help bring custom solutions to both new construction market, and developed end users.
    • Ability to educate the market on technology trends, and how they impact their business.
  • Team Selling – Ability to work strategically with team members to provide solutions to customers. Ability to work with other account managers to pull together multiple accounts to win a specific opportunity. Ability to hold team members accountable for necessary action items to ensure a path to success.
  • Subcontracting Partnerships – Build and maintain strategic partnerships with electrical subcontractors to deliver cost effective solutions with minimal risk to operations.
  • Team Player – Collaborate with internal sales team, and operations to deliver white glove customer service

Skills
  • Understanding of all levels of drawings and specifications from consulting engineers for HVAC and Smart Building solutions.
  • Understanding of basic contract language, and financial savviness
  • Understanding of relevant subcontractor relationships within bms/low voltage community.
  • Understanding of Large Account Management Planning (LAMP), and Strategic Selling (Blue Sheets)
  • Ability to present in front of large groups

Qualifications:
The U.S. compensation for this full-time position is a minimum base pay of $ 110,800 plus commission for candidates located within the U.S. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
